Cecilia Litch, a Filipina, was on stage during the Australia Day celebration last 26 January 2014 at the Queen Victoria Gardens as one of the six contestants of RACV’s game portion for its audience.

The third raffle prize was called and the winner was given an RACV backpack. Then the second prize was drawn and the 6th contestant won a luggage worth $300 plus. Then the girl assigned to do the draw dipped her hand to a glass container to choose the first prize. It was the 5th contestant and that was Cecilia. She won an Ipad worth $600 plus RACV backpack. She was jumping for joy!

Cecilia and the other contestants had to quickly get off stage to give way to the next performers.  The mother couldn’t contain her emotion and even did not have the time to check her Ipad because next on stage after the RACV game was her daughter Tiana’s performance. Tiana is part of the Australian Girls Choir who performed several songs to the delight of the audience. The RACV Sounds of Australia Day featured a range of performances from choral groups.
