Miss World Australia hosted its Victoria State Final recently at Aerial, South Wharf last 6th of July.

Miss World is the most prestigious and holistic title in beauty where the ethos of “Beauty with a Purpose” lies at its inner heart. Miss World Australia is looking for women who will rise up as role models and whose inner beauty amplifies their outer image.

Filipino-Australian, Kim Fyfe was one of the contestants in this prestigious beauty pageant and was the Mutya ng Pilipinas Australia 2014. She is also models for Roxy while studying a double degree in Nursing and Psychology.

Miss World Australia searches far and wide across the nation in a bid to find the most intelligent, savvy, globally aware and compassionate young women in Australia. The VIC State Final featured reality stars Emelia Jackson from Master Chef and Dan Hamill from X Factor’s Top 12 as judges for the event. The VIC State Final saw delegates from across the state judged on their Introduction, Evening Wear and Question & Answer section for their chance to represent Victoria at the 2016 National Finals.

At the crowning ceremony, the Top 5 winners will be travelling on an all expenses paid trip with Amazing Thailand at the beginning of August. The newly crowned Miss World Australia 2016 will compete at the prestigious international competition in Washington DC in December.

The Miss World Australia Organisation selects one delegate to represent Australia at the international competition as the 2016 campaign runs from December 2015 to August 2016. The Miss World organization has raised over $1 billion for children’s charities since it first began in 1951.
