6.9-magnitude quake hits 283km S of Ndoi Island, Fiji — USGS

HONG KONG, Feb. 25 (PNA/Xinhua) — An earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale jolted 283km S of Ndoi Island, Fiji at 17:28:43 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 396.08 km, was initially determined to be at 23.2032 degrees south latitude and 178.845 degrees west longitude.
