Consulate holds bi-annual meeting with Filipino community leaders in NSW

The Philippine Consulate General in NSW recently held its bi-annual meeting with the Filipino community leaders on 4 March at its Bulwagang Rizal place.

Consul General Anne Jalando-on Louis welcomed the participants followed by a series of talks from the different consuls.

Consul Marford Angeles updated the community on the political and economic concerns and overseas voting registration.

Consul Melanie Diano discussed the Philippine Department of Tourism 2017 market updates.

A special guest, Prof. Jane Stein Parbury of the University of Technology Sydney talked about National Women’s Month theme, “We make change work for women”
