E-passport system available in Malaysia

Following the lead of the Philippine Consulate-General (PCG) in Hong Kong and San Francisco, California, Filipinos in Los Angeles, California, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, may now avail themselves of the e- Passport system in their respective areas, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Saturday.

According to the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Los Angeles, it officially started accepting e-Passport applications last June 1, while the availability of the e-Passport in Malaysia was announced last June 4.
