Filipina-Australian girl group H3rizon (pronounced: horizon) have marked a new chapter in their career with their new single – F YOUR FLOWERS, which was released on August 19th via Warner Music Philippines.

H3rizon is composed of Sydney locals Tiara, Gabby and Bernie, who all met at a young age through Filipino events, and connected through a mutual love for music. They have gone on to build a loyal following on social media, boasting a healthy 2.3 million followers on TikTok, which is not to steal light from the pure talent that is showcased by the upcoming trio, a rare trait in viral acts.

With distribution efforts carried out by Warner Music Philippines, H3rizon’s latest offering, F YOUR FLOWERS, marks their major label debut, and are among a handful of acts throughout the globe carrying the flag for international Filipinos under the labels ‘GLOPM initiative. Furthermore, they are using their voices and position to advocate for more Filipino-foreign artists within western societies.

“As a Filipino-Australian girl group, we’re also big advocates for bringing more Filo/Asian representation into the Western media and we’d love to encourage other Filo-Asian creatives to join the music scene along the way,” the group said on the importance of their cultural identity.

F YOUR FLOWERS was conceptualised out of an annoyance, when group member Gabby received flowers from an unwanted admirer who wouldn’t take no for an answer. Although the release has been teased in shallow light leading up to the release on their social media, the single delivers a serious message about harassment of females, which unfortunately still occurs today. The accompanying visuals for F YOUR FLOWERS play into the important messaging, and takes inspiration from the popular Netflix series Bridgerton, which is set in the Regency period.

The music from the group has been compared to Chloe x Halle, Destiny’s Child, TLC and SWV. Listen to their tracks on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3ZaZApU5I9vSUHzOoUlp0D?si=M_qiBhjCSoWPbTUKlVB2Cg&nd=1
