Filipino-Australians to mark Feast of Sto Niño

 

The Australian Visayan Association of Victoria, Inc. is inviting the Filipino community to attend the Sinulog 2016 (Sto Niño Festival) on 17 January 2016. A concelebrated Mass will start at 1pm at St Andrews Parish, Springs Rd Clayton South to be officiated by Mgr Joselito ‘Litoy’ Asis, Fr Rowan Luza and Fr Rene Gumalag. Food and entertainment will follow at the nearby Namatjira Park.

Another mass to celebrate the Sto Niño Festival will be held on 24 January 2016 at St Peter the Apostle Parish Church, Guinane Avenue in Hoppers Crossing. On 31 January, another thanksgiving mass of the Holy Infant and Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe will be held at 9.30am at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Girrawheen. For enquiries, please contact Dante Maribbay on 0404 038 483.
