Jetstar is adding two new international routes to its growing network, connecting Australia directly to the Philippines from both Brisbane and Perth. The announcement marks a significant milestone for travellers and the Filipino-Australian community, with fares starting from just $188.
Beginning 27 November 2025, Jetstar will operate year-round flights from Perth to Manila, while seasonal flights from Brisbane to Cebu will start from 3 December 2025, both flying three times weekly. These routes will use Jetstar’s modern Airbus A321LR aircraft, part of its newer, quieter, and more fuel-efficient fleet.
Together, the new services will add more than 108,000 low-fare seats annually, creating new travel opportunities from the energy of Manila to the white-sand beaches of Cebu.

Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully said the launch of these routes reflects the airline’s broader international ambitions. “The launch of low-fare direct flights to the Philippines is an exciting milestone, unlocking two amazing destinations for Aussie travellers,” she said. “From the pristine beaches of Cebu to the vibrant energy of Manila, these new routes offer greater value options for an overseas holiday.”
She added, “As demand for low-cost international travel continues to grow, our pipeline of new aircraft is helping us deliver even more low fares to new destinations – so our customers can take off more, for less.”
This expansion is part of Jetstar’s ongoing growth across the Asia-Pacific. Since June 2024, the airline has launched or announced 20 new domestic and international routes. The rollout is backed by investments in new Airbus A321LR and A320neo aircraft, as well as the redeployment of Boeing 787 Dreamliners to longer-haul services.
Brisbane Airport CEO Gert-Jan de Graaff welcomed the announcement. “We know Queenslanders love to experience new destinations and Cebu will deliver in spades with gorgeous islands and people, rich Spanish colonial history, and vibrant street food culture—it is a tropical getaway waiting to be discovered,” he said.
“It also strengthens important ties for Queensland’s large Filipino community, making it easier to connect with family, while boosting trade and business between two regions.”
“This new route marks Brisbane Airport’s 34th direct international connection, which is the most ever, continuing our commitment to expanding travel opportunities and bringing the world closer to Queensland.”
