Maturate, Twenteen Models 2013 proclaimed

By Divine Basa

Oh what a night! It was a full house. The venue was bursting with excitement and fun. Guests arrived dressed up in fashion and style. All Twenteen and Maturate Model candidates were stunning and divine. The 11 judges looked like models themselves on the night. As part of the program were special dance performances from the Singh Bollywood dancers, Australia Post Dancers (gangnam style), and the Cougar dancers. All the candidates were very competitive when they presented  themselves in their exquisite cocktail dresses, national costume, and evening gown. It was a breathtaking performance for all of them, yet, they all took pride in their projection. Each candidate exhibited an impressive interpretation and execution per category that left the judges no choice but to raise the bar in their judging, as all model candidates performed to their best ability.  A truly overwhelming and enchanting evening. If only the candidates would look back and watch their performances, they will be immensely proud of themselves.

Later in the night was the culmination of all the candidates’ effort, the announcement of the winners, the moment I don’t look forward to because they are all winners to us in their own right. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way, having said that, I hope the whole experience has given each and everyone of them a good platform in their chosen career, or consider it as additional attributes in their self development.

One of the highlights of the night was the raffle draw. Generous amount of cash vouchers were drawn and announced.

On behalf of the Diez Production, I would like to thank everyone for supporting the candidates and attending on the night at Princes Court Reception, Mulgrave and made the Twenteen and Maturate Fashion Show Competition 2013 possible. Until next year with the inclusion of male models. Another exciting year to look forward to.
