Pampangueño Club to hold Melbourne Cup celebration

The Pampangueño Club of Victoria Inc. calls it the original night of fashion and glamour. Guests and sponsors call it the biggest Melbourne Cup celebration of the Filipino community. This 2 November 2015, the Pampagueño will again host the Melbourne Cup Eve Dinner Dance at the Ferraro Receptions at 14 Onslow Avenue in Campbellfield.

Last year, the event made history by having the former and current Philippine Honorary Consuls of Victoria gathered together to grace the Club’s dinner-dance. Philippine Honorary Consul Felix Pintado, Former Honorary Consuls Gigi Kalong, Maina Walkley and Raul Hernandez attended the event. More than $10,000 were raised for the Club’s charity projects in the Philippines.

This year, the Club expects a more exciting entertainment.

Officers of the Pampangueño Club are: President- Bernadette Miranda, Vice President-Judy Wright, Treasurer- Sonia Santos, Secretary- Michael Wright and Public Relations Officers- Lydia John, Gina Tuazon. Adviser is Roy Carbungco. Directors are Flora and Paulo Basilio;  Lina and Sonny Muli;  Rey Isletta;  Eric John and Corazon Carbungco.
