“Sinulog” is a religious and cultural festival that takes place annually in Cebu City, Philippines. It is a celebration of the Santo Niño (Holy Child), the oldest religious relic in the country, and is marked by parades, dancing, and other cultural activities. The festival is held on the third Sunday of January each year and is one of the most important events in Cebu City, attracting large crowds and visitors from all over the country and abroad.

The Sinulog festival is a mix of religious devotion and cultural celebration. It is based on the belief that the Santo Niño has miraculous powers and is associated with the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines.

It is a lively event that includes a Sinulog traditional dance procession, followed by the special blessing of Santo Niño statues, and then a gathering with food and entertainment.

Sinulog is now being celebrated across Australia.
