The Sinulog Festival has been growing in popularity in Victoria since its beginning in Clayton South over 35 years ago. The community gathers to celebrate the feast of the infant Jesus, in the tradition of the Cebuanos from which this tradition came.

It is lively event which includes a Sinulog Traditional Dance procession, followed by the special blessing of Santo Niño statues, then a gathering with food and entertainment. Wearing of traditional costumes is encouraged, however optional.

Sunday, January 12

Deer Park

St Peter Chanel Parish – 848 Ballarat Rd, Deer Park

11:30am Procession and Sinulog Street Dance, followed by 12:30pm Eucharistic Celebration.

Officiating Priests: Parish Priest Fr. Mon Libot and assistant priest Fr. Rowan Luza.

After mass: Fellowship and entertainment at SPC Parish Hall. Lunch provided, plus entertainment and raffles.

Grand Fiesta Celebration: Procession 10:30 am, followed by Holy Mass: 11am.
