Spray Painter Required – Truck Bodies

Looking for a reliable and experienced spray painter. This is a casual job but for the right candidate, a full-time will be available after a 3-month trial period.

Allquip Water Trucks is a family-owned company based in Rutherford NSW 2hrs from Sydney and only 30 minutes from Newcastle. Specialising in water truck bodies, vehicle body building and repairs, we recently installed a brand-new paint booth in our state of the art custom-built workshop and we require an experienced spray painter to assist in painting new truck bodies and preparing them for paint.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Pride in your work and a great eye for detail
  • Ability to train and supervise an apprentice or trades assist
  • Quality control checks from preparation to job completion
  • High-quality prep and paint finish
  • Competent and confident in working unsupervised and in a team environment
  • Availability to work overtime if required
  • General maintenance and cleaning of all tooling and work area
  • Good work ethic

  • Attention to detail
  • Physically fit – moving in and around truck bodies daily
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Punctual and reliable
