The Australian Supermodel of the Year competition has finally hit Victoria!

The Australian Supermodel of the Year (ASOTY), now in its second year, is designed to source Australia’s best talent and give them a chance to kick start their modelling careers on a national and international level.
ASOTY was founded in 2013 by renowned international model, Jess Davis. She has appointed Glamorazzi to execute the Victoria Finals competition. Glamorazzi, headed by Roslyn Foo and Daniel Lim, was also the execution partner of the Miss China-Australia International Tourism Pageant, which is making buzz in Australia and China fashion industry since 2012.

This year’s Victoria Finals was held last Saturday the 4th October 2014 at the Regent Spa Club (Xiang Club) a very luxurious VIP venue in the heart of Melbourne. The competition was participated by three gorgeous Filipina hopefuls namely Juliet Clifford, Rana Tabach, and Sophia Andrews. Sophia was chosen to be one of five ladies who will represent Victoria in the upcoming National Finals, while Rana was selected to win a special award from the judges with four other contestants.

All shows in this Victoria Final was choreographed by talent coach and cheorographer Sarika Young, and emceed by competition founder and international model Jess Davis. One of the 3 shows feature premium French label Mutated Nation, a showcase of active lifestyle fashion which is unique to the modelling competition scene.

Several major cities have completed their ASOTY state level competitions this year, and those selected will be vying for the title of Australian Supermodel of the Year at the National Finals which will take place in Sydney later this month.

Well celebrated judges were Andrew Moussi, Pierrick Boyer, Wilson Tan, Daniel Tenaglia and Tracey Langdon. Major sponsors were JR DutyFree, Xiang Club, Glamorazzi, FTM Model Management, Chanoyu Spa, Chef Ikuei Arakane, Esprit Hair, Mutated Nation, Kirin, Yarra Valley Snack Foods, Blanc de Bleu, SAKA Water, Jason Partington, The Millionaires Club, GlamoDesign, My Fashion Guide, and OEI Entertainment.
