Adhika Inc. commemorated International Women’s Day 2026 with a forum and gala event held in mid-March at Doooleys Catholic Club, focusing on women’s empowerment, health, and shared experiences within the Filipino-Australian community.
The event was organised in partnership with the Philippine Community Council of NSW (PCC-NSW), Visayan Association of Australia (VAA), and PAGASA, with support from Dooleys Catholic Club of Regents Park and the Philippine Consulate General in Sydney.
Guided by the theme “Give to Gain,” the program featured a women’s forum where speakers shared personal stories and life experiences, alongside discussions on wellbeing and community involvement.

Adhika Inc., a Sydney-based non-profit organisation founded by Josie Musa, continues to advocate for women’s empowerment and community engagement through its annual International Women’s Day initiatives, which recognise the contributions of Filipino-Australian women and volunteers.
Organisers acknowledged the participation of panellists, honourees, sponsors, donors, performers, and media volunteers who contributed to the event.
