NSW—APCO members celebrated the day for lovers by being in three fund-raising events: the Masquerade Ball and Valentine’s Party of the Illawarra Filipino Multicultural Women’s Group in Wollongong, the Blacktown Lions Club Filipino Fiesta Nite and the Visayan Association of Australia- Fil-Oz Liverpool and District’s Love-s-n-d-Air Valentine Disco Dance.

As the umbrella state body, APCO has always been very supportive of all its affiliates’ activities, events or projects not only by their presence but also as performers, pro bono.

At the Illawarra Filipino and Multicultural Women’s Group, the Mindanao Ethnic Dance Group of APCO was among the performers while Dr Cen Amores and Dr Jimmy Lopez were asked to put the sash on the winners of their fundraising search for the Valentine’s Queen of the Night.

At the Lion’s Club Filipino Fiesta Night, Linda Trinidad, APCO Director, joined Marcus Rivera perform a song number to the delight of the guests. Meanwhile, at the Visayan Association-Fil-Oz Liverpool and Districts’ Love-s-n-d-Air Valentine Disco Dance, Pet Storey, APCO Secretary and her husband, Ron were among the two couples who renewed their marriage vows.
