Cebu Pacific Expands Australian Services with Budget-Friendly Fares to the Philippines

Cebu Pacific, a leading airline in the Philippines, has announced discounted fares as it increases its services between Australia and the Philippines.

Travellers can now book one-way flights to Manila starting from $199 from Melbourne and $209 from Sydney. These promotional fares are available for booking until Friday, 13 December, and cover travel dates from 1 June to 30 November 2025.

The airline recently enhanced its Australian operations, upgrading its Sydney-Manila route to daily flights starting 1 December and increasing its Melbourne-Manila service to four times weekly from 23 November. Cebu Pacific has seen steady growth in passenger numbers from Australia, reflecting the rising popularity of the Philippines as a travel destination.

Known for its pristine beaches, diverse marine life, and scenic hiking trails, the Philippines has gained recognition among international travellers. Indeed, just last week, one of the country’s most popular provinces, Palawan, was ranked among the best in the world, featuring one of the top beaches for Australians to consider in their 2025 holiday plans.*

“We are pleased to offer regular low-price deals to our Australian travellers on the back of the increase in services from our two key ports of Sydney and Melbourne,” said an airline spokesperson. “The Philippines has been a bit of a secret destination for Australians, but is now generating increased interest among local travellers as they become more aware of what the country offers.”

Cebu Pacific also recently showcased the Philippines on a global stage with a light and sound show on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, highlighting the country as a must-see destination.

With a young fleet averaging six years, Cebu Pacific operates 79 aircraft, including 64 Airbus planes, offering extensive connections to domestic and international destinations via Manila.
