Wollondilly Shire Council is proud to present Cultural Connections, a NSW Government–funded multicultural festival celebrating the vibrant diversity that enriches communities across New South Wales. Taking place on Saturday, 21 February at the picturesque Picton Botanic Gardens, the festival invites Filipino families, cultural groups and communities from across Sydney and the Macarthur region to come together for a joyful day of connection, creativity and celebration.
Cultural Connections will transform Picton into a lively hub of colour, sound and flavour, showcasing cultures from around the world. From afternoon through to evening, visitors will be treated to an exciting program of live performances, including music, dance and storytelling that reflect both traditional and contemporary cultural expressions. These performances offer a meaningful opportunity for communities to share their heritage and for audiences to experience the richness of global cultures.
Interactive workshops and pop-up entertainment throughout the day will encourage people of all ages to get involved. From hands-on cultural activities to participatory dance and creative experiences, the festival is designed to foster understanding, spark curiosity and celebrate cultural exchange in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
Food will also play a central role, with Eat Street featuring a diverse range of global cuisines. Festival-goers can enjoy sweet and savoury dishes inspired by cultures from across the world, celebrating the universal way food brings people together and connects communities.

Wollondilly Shire Council warmly invites people from all backgrounds to experience the region’s welcoming spirit and connect with new audiences. Join us on Saturday 21 February at Picton Botanic Gardens and be part of a vibrant festival celebrating diversity, community and the many cultures that enrich our region.
