Franchising and Business Expo in Australia features Philippine brands and services

To further promote Philippine products and brands in Australia, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) – Sydney and the Export Marketing Bureau (EMB), partners with the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) at the Franchising and Business Opportunities Expo in Melbourne, Australia this 17-18 August 2024.

The Expo will feature Philippine brands in both goods and services which opens opportunities to engage with quality visitors and potential buyers interested to join a franchising system or planning to establish their own businesses.

In 2023, the Australian franchise industry recorded a market size of $169.5 billion, employing over 600,000 people in the workforce, making the franchising industry a significant contributor to the Australian economy.

Around 100 exhibitors are expected in the expo including Filipino brands Avocadoria, Bench,  Miguelitos Ice Cream, Oryspa, Shawarma Shack, The Cabalen Group, among others. 

The Philippine participation at the Franchising and Business Opportunities Expo is supported by partner institutions Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT) and the Philippine Franchise Association.

Interested parties may visit the Philippine booth at #A29 or email sydney@dti.gov.ph for those wishing to schedule one-on-one meetings with the participating brands.
