I heart cruise: new band, 10 birthdays

There’s nothing more romantic than sailing four hours with someone special to celebrate Valentine’s Day. But this special Valentine cruise, held last 14 February 2015 aboard Lady Cutler Melbourne Showboat, was more magical as it gathered together 280 guests to witness the birthday celebration of ten guests and the formal launching of a new band called Muszic and Friendz.

Lalaine Diez of Diez Sounds and Motion said there is now a new trend to have a band for entertainment rather than seeing one DJ the whole night. Hence, her husband, Melvin Diez helped organised Muszic and Friendz as an answer to the demand of their customers to have a live band. Members of Muszic and Friendz are: Melvin Diez, lead guitar/vocal; Willy De Joya, lead vocal/percussion; Lynn Fitton, lead vocal; Alex Suaze, drums, and Ronald Flores, base/keyboard. Lalaine said event organisers can now book to have a DJ and a band playing several songs the entire night for their events.

The following celebrated their birthdays on the night: Lillian Bermudez, Agnes Fernandez Misolas, Jisela Jan Misolas, Valentina Espanola, Fe Dorosan, Alex Suaze, Ludy Suaze, Brendan Fitton, Sanjay and Vince. They were serenaded by Willy De Joya and Lynn Fitton.
