Kilig moments with real-life couples in digital series ‘Unloving U’

Two reel and real-life love teams come together in the new series from Director Easy Ferrer. Unloving U which is the Valentine offering from Dreamscape features husband and wife Ariel Rivera and Gelli de Belen and young couple Ronie Alonte and Loisa Andalio.

The story is about step siblings Fiona (Loisa) and Alfie (Ronie) who are unwillingly thrown into each other’s lives because of their parent’s marriage. Later they start to develop feelings for each other and because of their situation Fiona decides to stop her feelings and start unloving him.

Director Easy Ferrer promised that the show will be a “kilig smorgasbord”, adding that working with real life couples made his job easy, as he doesn’t need to motivate them as the chemistry comes out naturally.

The two couples had nothing but praise for each other, with Gelli saying that the young ones were very professional and always came to the set prepared. She said that she had apprehension about working with a young couple at first because they might let their personal relationship affect their work but has never seen it on set with LoiNie. Likewise, Loisa and Ronie said that GeRiel was an inspiration to them. Gelli and Ariel is one of the strongest showbiz relationships staying married for more than 20 years now.

Preproduction started from October last year and shooting started in December before Christmas time. Locked in tapings gave the artists and crew time to bond with each other and they shared that the set was always full of laughter and jokes.
