One-stop-shop online directory for all Australian COVID-19 and Telehealth clinics

Australians now have access to a single, one-stop-shop directory website to find all relevant information relating to nationwide COVID-19 clinics, pop up health services, Telehealth practices, and specialty providers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Introducing: CoronaVirusClinics.com.au or COVID19Clinics.com.au

Over 200 COVID-19 clinics have been listed alongside thousands of other healthcare services such as dentists, optometrists, GP’s, psychologists, allied services and specialists located right across Australia that are open for business, with the expectation that hundreds more COVID-19 and Telehealth services will be added in the coming days and weeks.

Accessible via either CoronaVirusClinics.com.au or COVID19Clinics.com.au, the initiative makes it much easier and quicker for patients to find important healthcare services offering specific COVID-19 services at this vital time.

Powered by the MyHealth1st.com.au platform supported by ASX listed 1st Group, the website aims to provide certainty for patients and practices about what health services are available, their exact locations, how to access them and which healthcare providers are offering remote Telehealth services.

Managing Director and Co-Founder Klaus Bartosch said, “Australia’s healthcare system is buckling under the strain of the pandemic. We all know that. What we have done is provide a single destination for searching online for all relevant healthcare services and information in relation to COVID-19,” Mr Bartosch said.

“At a time when people are scrambling for information in relation to treatment and practitioners, we’ve consolidated everything into a single website directory powered by our trusted MyHealth1st platform.

The problem is that consumers just don’t know where to search for relevant services. New services like ePrescriptions, Telehealth and COVID19 clinics are being fast tracked and new Medicare benefits are being announced almost every day. It’s been impossible to stay on top of everything.

“Google searches just aren’t cutting it, and there are now myriad state and Commonwealth websites that contain only partial information.

“Until now, to find these clinics and services you needed to visit multiple government and hospital websites, private practice and other websites. It is confusing, frustrating and almost completely impossible for Australians to find what they want easily, quickly and reliably at this very difficult time.”

Australians who visit CoronaVirusClinics.com.au will also be able to find, search and book appointments with the thousands of other healthcare services that are already listed on the MyHealth1st.com.au directory such as Dentists and Optometrists.

“Importantly, clinics that use other online appointment systems can also be added to our directory, and can opt-in to add the MyHealth1st online appointments system at no cost,” Mr Bartosch said.

“We’ve made it our mission to help in these difficult times. We expect this new directory service may dramatically increase the traffic to our website, and accordingly we have prepared ourselves for the increase in demand.”
