Honorary Consul to Perth Atty. Virma Symons will wind up her term on 14 March 2024 after a glorious four years at the helm of the Philippine Consulate in Perth.

Symons will leave behind a legacy of accomplishments that included conducting the most mobile passport missions in Perth and the regions. She also spearheaded the biggest Filipino community event during the 75th Philippines-Australia Bilateral Relations Anniversary at Perth’s Langley Park, the first time a Filipino event was held in Western Australia’s open event landmark.

Before Symons officially steps down, the Philippine Consulate in Perth paid tribute to the Filipino-Australian community for the massive support extended to the agency in the past four years.
