Sharon Cuneta’s February concert tour postponed

The Sharon Cuneta concert in Victoria, including New South Wales, South Australia, and Western Australia will be postponed indefinitely due to the unpredictable nature of the novel coronavirus. The Melbourne producers will give fans the option to get a refund this April 2021 or keep their tickets for a later date.

The Australian concert tour 2020, titled “My 40 Years”, was slated to happen in April 2020 but was rescheduled to February 2021 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). To date, no schedule was given at this stage.

Speaking on behalf of his co-producers, Ed Guevarra of EMG Sports and Entertainment reminds Sharon’s fans that the situation is different as the two postponements happened in an unprecedented situation in the concert scene. He told The Philippine Times that cancellation, postponement and rescheduling are three different items that should be given careful consideration. The Australia concert of Sharon is not yet cancelled but just postponed. It was rescheduled for February but then again it was not feasible due to COVID restrictions.

Guevarra said his group certainly understands the frustration of those wanting to get their refunds quickly. He said the group assures the public that once they get their money back from the promoter, they will start to refund for tickets.

Guevarra assures the public that they are doing everything to organise refund. His other co-producers are Ernie Manaog, Bernadette Espina and Josie Sotelo.
