The $250 Power Saving Bonus for Victorians is Back

Victoria households are set to receive a new round of Power Saving Bonus payments from the 24th of March 2023. The program, which aims to help Victorians save on their energy bills, will offer households a $250 bonus payment, including those who received payments during the current round.

To apply for the bonus, eligible households are required to visit the program’s website from the 24th of March 2023.

Eligibility requirements for the bonus include being a Victorian residential energy consumer and the account holder. Only one payment is available per household, and applicants are not required to switch offers or retailers. As part of the application process, participants will be presented with information about the best-priced electricity offers available in their area.

The Power Saving Bonus program has proven to be a popular initiative among Victorians, with many households already receiving payments during the current round. The program aims to help households save money on their energy bills by providing them with access to information about cheaper electricity offers and incentivising energy-efficient behaviours.

In addition to the bonus payments, the program also offers a range of resources and advice to help households reduce their energy usage. These include tips on reducing standby power, adjusting thermostats, and using energy-efficient appliances.

The program has been well received by Victorians, who have praised its efforts to help households save on their energy bills. With rising energy costs and the increasing need for households to reduce their carbon footprint, the Power Saving Bonus program offers a practical and effective solution for households across the state.

The application process for the bonus is quick and easy, taking only five to ten minutes to complete. To apply, participants will need to have a recent electricity bill with them, ensuring that the information provided is accurate and up to date.

Overall, the Power Saving Bonus program represents an important step towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient future for Victoria. By providing households with the resources and support they need to reduce their energy usage, the program is helping to create a more sustainable and cost-effective energy system for all Victorians.
