This is it, pancit!

Are you ready? 2025 is here. Now is the time to decide to make this year your best year yet. You do not need inspiration or motivation. Do not wait for the outside world to give you permission to achieve your goals.

The answer is within. You already know what you need to do to achieve what you want. You already know the barriers you will face that will stop you from achieving your goals. You know deep inside that it will take work and focused effort to achieve your objectives.

This year, be mindful and be quick to adjust if things are not working. You only have 52 Saturdays in 2025 and it would be ideal to make the correct adjustments in the first six Saturdays instead of getting to week 48 and wasting the whole year.

What am I alluding to? Let me take you back to the “How to Eat an Elephant” reference that I mentioned in a previous article. Approach the goal like how you would eat an elephant. It would be so hard to digest a whole elephant or achieve a massive goal if you attempt to digest it all in one sitting. Approach it by focusing on one morsel at a time, chunking it into smaller pieces—a milestone that builds up to a big milestone.

Challenges will try to derail you. Something will come up that will make you lose focus. Remember to ask yourself, “What is my goal?” Remind yourself that if you do not continue to pursue your goal, you will be back where you started. Act with intent, and eliminate distractions that will get you off track. It could be a phone app or a negative relative; you need to delete them from your periphery.

In the next few days, take time to recharge and regroup. Think of the wins for the past year; what did you learn? What would you avoid if you could go back to the start of the year? What would happen if you don’t change?

The outcome for 2025 is based on the tiny actions you make all through the year. You achieve success by taking one step at a time; it is not done by taking one major leap and landing successfully. Remember the 52 Saturdays that are allocated. The choice is yours—will you squander it or make it work for you?

My wish for you is that you have a safe and restful New Year. I envision that 2025 will present opportunities that will enable you to step up and accelerate your self-growth. 2025 is your year. This is it!

Until next time, stay focused.
