PORTLAND, March 1 (PNA/Sputnik) — YouTube will soon launch live streaming in the next few months of television programs from four national US broadcasters and cable channels for a subscription price of USD35 per month, the company said on its official blog.
The new service includes such national broadcasters as ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, and ESPN that can be watched whenever the viewer chooses and not be tied to the broadcasters’ programming schedules.
“Meet YouTube TV. It’s live TV designed for the YouTube generation — those who want to watch what they want, when they want, how they want, without commitments,” according to the blog.
The company explained that a YouTube membership includes six accounts without any storage limits at half the cost of cable and no commitments.
