Boracay’s ‘Kastilyong Buhangin’

A local artist starts carving out a sand castle which over the years has become an added attraction in the world-famous Boracay. Some enterprising locals collect a minimal fee from tourists who pose of take a selfie with their sand castles. Hundreds of delegates from the 10 ASEAN members countries — Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines — are presently in Boracay for the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting hosted and chaired by Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr. (PNA photo by Avito C.
