Fil-Aussie artist Boy Graduate releases debut EP ‘Own Advice’

Australian-Filipino Boy Graduate marks his official return, and the start of a new era, with his Debut EP ‘Own Advice’ which was released via Warner Music Philippines on May 20th. The EP completes the run of singles previously released over the course of 2021 and early 2022. Following the release, the single ‘What A Life’ has already landed on two editorial playlists: The Drip & Fresh Finds Philippines.

The premise of ‘Own Advice’ was birthed amidst Boy Graduate returning to Australia after living in the Philippines in 2019-2020. His upfront honesty and lack of filter throughout the project shows him at his most vulnerable.

The focus single – ‘What A Life’, further details the core of Boy Graduates’ story over the last two years and serves as a remarkable introduction to the project, highlighting the list of challenges faced while chasing a true purpose.

Boy Graduate has been featured on Spotify Asia’s editorials New Music Friday Philippines & Fresh Finds Philippines for his run of singles leading up to the project. He was also a guest on WISH USA (2 million subscribers) to promote his single ‘Someone Like You’ in October 2021 and was featured on Asia Pop 40 as a ‘Buzz Track’ artist for all three singles leading up to this project’s release.

More recently his single The Long Way with label mate Sin Santos received airtime on popular Australian radio station Triple J Unearthed in January 2022.
