What a way to celebrate a couple’s wedding anniversary by having a solo exhibit honouring a man’s love for his wife. For a blushing bride 50 years ago, this exhibit would be an ultimate gift for a shared life of love and art. Multi-awarded Joel Magpayo will hold a solo exhibit in celebration of his 50th anniversary with wife, Lynda Magpayo. “I can not take my wife to a cruise or holiday because of my troubled leg. Instead I’m doing an exhibition called 50 Hues of Gold,” he told The Philippine Times.

Philippine Consul General to Victoria Felix Pintado will formally open the exhibit on 2 October 2015, 6pm at the Hunt Club Community Art Centre in Deer Park. The exhibit will run until 31 October 2015.
