Justice Morales new HRET head

The Supreme Court announced on Thursday changes in the composition of its three divisions and contingents to the Senate and House electoral tribunals.

Associate Justice Conchita Carpio-Morales, the magistrate handpicked by President-apparent Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III to administer his presidential oath, benefited the most from the first major revamp under the Corona court.

The revamp was triggered by the retirement of former Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno and the assumption into office by new Chief Justice Renato C. Corona last May 17.
