New RACV app alerts feature helps Victorians find the cheapest fuel

To help Victorians find the cheapest fuel options, RACV has updated its Arevo app with a new feature that sends users personalized alerts on fuel prices. This innovative tool is designed to notify motorists about price fluctuations and the locations of the lowest-priced fuel near them, effectively making it easier to save on fuel costs.

Julia Hunter, RACV’s General Manager of Mobility, emphasized the value of this update, stating, “The Arevo fuel alerts are a really exciting innovation that will actively work to save users time and effort finding cheaper fuel options.” She further explained how the app could guide users to make timely decisions about when and where to refuel, potentially leading to significant savings.

The Arevo app, which is refreshed every 15 minutes, covers all major fuel stations, providing up-to-date pricing and distance information to help users locate the most affordable fuel options. Beyond fuel savings, Arevo also supports route planning with alternative transportation modes, such as biking and public transport, to further reduce costs.

Available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play, the Arevo app by RACV continues to enhance its offerings, aiming to improve the financial wellbeing of Victorians through practical, user-friendly solutions.
