TV thief nabbed after 8 years

MANILA, Philippines—The law has finally caught up with a 34-year-old man who fled the country to avoid serving his jail term for stealing a television set eight years ago.

Fugitive Eduardo “Eddieboy” Tamayo Jr., who went into hiding in Australia, was arrested by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation’s Interpol Division upon his arrival at the Terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City recently.
