Valentine Acoustic presents Beloved and Martin

FilOz acoustic princess and hugot queen Beloved Abe and Geelong-based talent Martin Dolores serenaded couples and guests at San Mateo Café in Geelong on 14 February for its Valentine’s Dinner Acoustic.

Guests enjoyed an evening of sumptuous two-course meal, spiced up with wonderful music by Beloved, who performed an original and a collection of favourite love songs, and by Martin with his cool, relaxing tunes.

Beloved, 29, a Melbourne-based singer-musician just released a music video on Youtube in January for her original composition “Bitter Song”. No doubt, Beloved and her guitar are just meant for each other. She has a unique vocal tone and creative style which yields such soulful renditions. She is no ordinary artist. She is pure talent with a genuine passion for music.

Martin Dolores, 16, is based in Geelong, fresh talent and has a strong passion for music. He sings pop, R&B and ballads and occasionally performs at San Mateo Café on Friday nights.
San Mateo Café is the first Filipino family-owned restaurant in Geelong. Chef Dante Gallardo, with his wife Michelle, introduces authentic Filipino cuisines as well as reinvents some Pinoy classics putting his own spin on the dishes to cater to a more multicultural food lovers.

San Mateo Café offers all time delights – breakfast favourites tapsilog and longsilog, chicken inasal, sisig, crispy pata, tokwa’t baboy with lugaw and sweet treats taho, halo-halo, ube cake, sans rival and leche flan. The Café is located at 1/100 Pakington Street, West Geelong.
